From November 20 till 21, the 4th Chinese Art Forum of Mainland, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, jointly sponsored by CFLAC and Hong Kong Arts Development Council, undertaken by Office of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Affairs of CFLAC and Theoretic Research Department of CFLAC, was opened in Hong Kong. Mr. Sun Jiazheng, vice chairman of CPPCC and president of CFLAC, Madame Yang Chengzhi, vice president and member of Secretariat of CFLAC, Dan Zeng, Zhao Huayong and Bian Faji, vice presidents of CFLAC, Mr. Tsang Tak-sing, Secretary for Home Affairs of HK, Wong Ying-wai, chairman of Hong Kong Arts Development Council, and other responsible heads from Liaison Office of Central Government in Hong Kong and Macao, Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office and Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council and Ministry of Culture attended this Forum. Mr. Sun Jiazheng delivered a keynote speech at the opening ceremony and Madame Yang Chengzhi presided over the opening ceremony.

With the theme of“Cultural Integration and Art Development”, this two-day-long forum was divided into some parts such as keynote speech, group discussion, roundtable talk on Hong Kong”and art lecture. During the Forum, participants expressed their own opinions about the power of culture, special feature of art education, historic mission of promoting Chinese culture, self-confidence of culture and creativity in arts, which constituted a touching atmosphere of art exchange and feeling at home.
