Lu Tianci Delivered Address
Resume of Lu Tianci
Mr. Lu puts his life as a playful walk between the land and the oil paintings that has lasted unwittingly for decades. Right to the meaning of his name (Tianci means the heaven's blessing), he thanks the heaven for its generous giving in his early-on learning experience with his mentor artist, Mr. Zhao Weifu, and his self-indulgence in the painting art. He has been born and raised in Macao, the city of lotus flowers, and has lived happily in a natural state around lotus ponds, gardensand farms to capture life scenes into paintings. He stands proud of his multiple personal painting exhibitions.

Mr. Lu is a native artist, born and raised in Macao. Ever since childhood, he followed the famous artist, Mr. Zhao Weifu to learn the painting art. He has been a virtuoso for hosting his personal exhibitions. With lotus flower as personal specialty, he is adept at putting life scenes into the paintings. There appearing in his paintings are gardens and farms, animals and plants, as well as Macao historical buildings and street corners, which all emit profound sentiments of life. Philosophical ideas can be read in seemingly insignificant details. His oil paintings savor of traditional Chinese paintings. One often sees budding lotus flowers, water-skimming dragonflies, lustrous green grass in Spring, blooming lotus flowers, drifting flower pedals, swimming ducklings, growing lotus seedpods in Summer, and what's left of a lotus pond at the end of Autumn that still withhold hopes for the next year. The audience may appreciate vibrant spirits in Mr. Lu’s paintings, such as the purityin lotus flowers, the sturdinessin wild chrysanthemum flowers, the happiness in magnolia flowers, the pride in kapok flowers, the sweetness in litchi fruit, the flamboyance in pitaya fruit, the maturity in sand pears, the freshness in papaya fruit, the smell of steamed rice in the rice fields and the taste of juicy meat at the sight of poultry and livestock. One can also see the changes in the small city of Macao, at different levels and throughout the times.
