Resume of Huang Fengwen
Huang Fengwen was born in 1923 in Zhongshan City of Guangdong Province. With decades of painting experience, he has profound mastery of oil paintings, traditional Chinese paintings and watercolor paintings. His painting style is both unique and carefree, rich with distinctive characters and authentic emotions.He paints figures, gold fishes, flowers and birds. Of all his artworks, paintings of feminine figures carry special weight. His prominent social titles include Founding President of Macao Culture and Art Society, Honorary President of Macao Association of Flower Paintings, Counselor to Calligraphy and Painting Association of Senior Artists in Foshan City, Honorary President of Macao Bonsai Association, Permanent Honorary President of Macao Calligraphy and Painting Association of Senior Artists, Member of Macao Artist Society, and Counselor to Artists Association of Zhuhai City.

Sponsored by Macao Foundation and as a part of the Macao Artists Promotion Project, the Painting Exhibition of Historical and Contemporary Chinese Outstanding Women Figures by Mr. Huang Fengwen was held at the Macao UNESCO Center from March 8thto 15th. There were 60 selected pieces of artworks by Mr. Huang. Alongside the exhibition, his painting album of the same name was also released to the public.
The launching ceremony was on the Women's Day. In his speech, Mr. Huang dedicated the exhibition to his mother, and put it as an ode to the great maternal love. His paintings presented multiple outstanding Chinese feminine figures both in history and at present. With diverse artistic styles, he intended to facilitate diversified understanding of women's beauties throughout the times, and encourage the general public's care for the women.
Dignitaries from Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in Macao, Office of the Commissioner of the Foreign Ministry in Macao, Macao Foundation, Macao Association of Collectors, Macao Federation of Literary and Art Circles, Think-tank Association of Young Entrepreneurs, Macao Culture and Art Society participated in the ceremony.
