CHEN Xianyao
With Guangdong as ancestral home, he moved to Macao in 1999. He has been focusing on taking photographs concerning Macao's custom, historical architecture and etc. in recent years and is currentlya member of Guangdong Photographers Association and director of Photographers Association of Zhongshan City. He has published a series of albums, including Macao Neighborhood—Documentary Photography of CHEN Xianyao, Old Shops of Old Industry, Macao Life 2012---Photography Exhibition of CHEN Xianyao, Glory of Forgotten--- Photographs Album of Macao City, Great Land---Macao Aerial Photography Album and etc.

Image of Craftsman--- Portrait Exhibition of Macao Artists, a promotion plan of Macao artists, hosted by Macao Foundation, has been held at Chuncao Hall of Jardim Lou Lim Iok in Macao from 29, October to 7, November, displaying 71 artworks of Macao artists’ portrait and first official release of Image of Craftsman--- Portrait of Macao Artists.
ZHENG Xinyou, Director of public diplomacy and information department under the Office of the Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China in Macao SAR, DIAO Peng, Assistant to the department of culture and education of Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the Macao SAR, WU Shiming, Honorary President of Chief Committee of Macao Neighborhood Association, CHEN Jichun, Curator of Macao Museum of Art, LI Ying, President of Macao Art Association, ZHAO Weifu, President of Macao Institute of Culture and Art and photographer CHEN Xianyao have attended the opening ceremony.
This exhibition, displaying the portrait of more than 70 Macao artists from the famous photographer CHENXianyao, is committed to acquainting all the artists with the public and understanding their achievements in various arts sectors through photographs and introduction of each artist, while encouraging mutual consultation and learning amongst peers for common advancement and shaping the Macao artists’ group portrait featuring liveliness, entrepreneurship and creativity.
